Sadly, Orgy of the Dead is the only A.C. Stephen production currently
available. All the others listed below, formerly available on VHS, are now out
of print. We are keeping these titles on the page (without links), and will
restore the links when these films again become available.
The
Erotic World Of A.C. Stephen
His real name was Stephen Apostolof, but softcore fans can really get to know Ed
Wood compadre and "Orgy of the Dead" director A.C. Stephen through
this salute to such softcore classics as "Lady Godiva Rides,"
"The Divorcee," "Class Reunion" and "Beach
Bunnies." Here are clips, shorts, outtakes and more from the ultra-sexy
Stephen oeuvre.
Suburbia
Confidential(1966)
This expose of sexual behavior in the suburbs follows the erotic activities of a
group of oversexed people who live just beyond the city limits. There's the
woman who has a thing for the TV repairman and milkman, a fellow who loves
cross-dressing, a gal into bondage sessions with the carpet salesman and more.
This A.C. Stephen outing features Helena Clayton and 20 minutes of rarely-seen
footage.
Motel
Confidential(1967)
Check in to "Motel Confidential" and check out what's going on in the
sex lives of...well, everyone! There's a lecherous boss and his bra-popping
secretary, an unhappily married couple trying to put spice into their love life,
an exercise enthusiast who gets it on with the bellboy and, in a rarely seen
16-minute segment, two newlyweds and a drunk. Pat Neice stars; A.C. Stephen
directs.
Lady
Godiva Rides(1968)
A.C. Stephen's campy softcore classic features the legendary Marsha Jordan as
the famed long-haired equestrian. Joining up with Tom Jones (no, not the singer)
for a trip to America, the pair meet up with all manner of nudie cuties and Wild
West outlaws (historians take note). The ads noted that the good Lady "blew
the lid off the Wild West."
College
Girls(1968)
Marsha Jordan, that wowsome starlet of '60s erotica, stars in an A.C. Stephen
survey of sex, collegiate style. Here comes Miss Jordan as Fluff, a student who
does some extra activities to get a passing biology grade. She's joined by a
bevy of bodacious coeds who love to experiment with drugs and classmates of both
male and female persuasions. Features 12 minutes of restored footage.
Office
Love-In(1968)
The love lives of office workers are revealed in all of their raging hormonal
glory in this A.C. Stephen production. Follow the sexual adventures of the
workers of Date-A-Mate, who can't seem to stay out of the bedroom. Among them:
Kathy Williams, who loves her boss and his son; and Lynn Harris, who tries to
cure a co-worker of his homosexuality. All this and Marsha Jordan (billed as
"Carol Saunders") as a lesbian, too.
The
Divorcee(1969)
Sultry Marsha Jordan is the titular character, a woman who finds her hubby
engaged in sex with another woman, then goes on a sex romp. She beds down a host
of partners, including her divorce lawyer, a wealthy playboy, her sado-masochistic
dentist and her best friend's hubby. You'll scream "Marsha! Marsha!
Marsha!" when you witness Jordan in action. A.C. Stephen directs.
Wrong
Way(1972)
Becky Sharpe and Lynn Harris are two gals picked up by creeps posing as
geologists(?!) after they have car trouble on a secluded road. But this is truly
a road to nowhere, littered with rapists, bikers, a psycho hippie cult and two
slave-traders delivering a prostitute to a Mexican brothel. This sordid sex and
sadism saga was produced by A.C. Stephen ("Orgy of the Dead").
Drop
Out Wife(1972)
Ed Wood, Jr.'s wacky script and several hot simulated sex scenes make this
erotic A.C. Stephen entry a must-have. Angela Carnon is a housewife and mother
who dumps family life to join the sixties swingers. While experimenting with
group sex and other free love enterprises, she makes some not-so-startling
revelations about the opposite sex. With Candy Samples, Terry Johnson and Sandy
Dempsey.
The
Snow Bunnies(1973)
Four gals led by comely Marsha Jordan head to a Canadian ski resort to snag some
men--and soon they not only snag 'em, they shag 'em, too. The women meet them in
the bar and at the ski shop, and get it on in such heated encounters that the
snow practically melts. Rene Bond and Sandi Carey co-star; Ed Wood co-scripted
with director A.C. Stephen.
Fugitive
Girls(1974)
Wild drive-in fave finds Rene Bond leading fellow female inmates on a jail break
out of a work farm and to loot tucked away in the California wilds. The group of
gals--which includes a black inmate, a lesbian and a good girl--encounter
hippies, a biker gang and a handicapped Vietnam vet and his Latino lady, who
Rene takes a liking to. A.C. Stephen directs; Ed Wood, Jr. co-scripts.
The
Beach Bunnies(1976)
It's "Beach Bunny Bango" in this sex-and-sand saga co-scripted by Ed
Wood, Jr. and directed by A.C. Stephen. The female editor of Blue magazine and
three gorgeous staffers travel to a beach resort to get the goods on Hollywood
star Rock Sanders. With its unending selection of sin and sodomy, this place
makes Club Med look like Club Dead. With Brenda Fogerty and Mariwin Roberts.
